Dr. Taylar grew up in Liberty Township, Ohio and completed her undergraduate degree in Community Nutrition and Public Health at Miami University. Continuing her education, she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry. Following dental school, Dr. Taylar completed a one-year General Practice Residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, Illinois where she learned to manage medically complex patients including those with special healthcare needs and pediatric patients. Her love for pediatric dentistry was discovered during her General Practice Residency. Following her residency, Dr. Taylar served as the Director of Special Patient Care at Advocate Illinois Masonic where she treated adults with special healthcare needs and taught residents. Dr. Taylar went on to complete her pediatric residency at Nationwide Children’s Hospital/The Ohio State University and earned her Master of Science in Dentistry.

As a pediatric dentist, Dr. Taylar believes that every child deserves a positive, comfortable dental experience and access to quality oral healthcare. She is committed to building trusting relationships with children and families, reducing fear and anxiety, and providing compassionate, individualized care that helps every child achieve a healthy smile and a strong foundation for lifelong oral health.

Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with her family and dog, reading for book club, paint by numbers, camping/hiking, and trying new recipes.
