Our office attempts to schedule appointments at your convenience and when time is available.
Preschool children should be seen in the morning because they are fresher and we can work more slowly with the child for their comfort. School aged children for routine visits can be scheduled throughout the day.
Our afternoon appointments are for routine visits and older children requiring minor dental treatment.
We kindly request a 48 hour cancellation notice.

The office is specifically designed for children and the waiting area has interactive toys and books for all ages.
During the patient exam, children can choose their favorite Netflix show to watch while sitting/lying in the chair. Our doctors are board certified pediatric dentists and our staff is experienced and trained to work specifically with children.
We also allow and even encourage parents/caregivers to remain with their children throughout the entire visit.
We want your child to have a positive dental experience. Please arrive on time for your appointment. All appointments are scheduled for the amount of time necessary to make your child comfortable and accomplish necessary treatment. Should you arrive 10 minutes past your scheduled appointment time, you may be asked to reschedule. Missed and broken appointments may interfere with out ability to properly care for your child or another that may need to see one of our doctors.
We understand situations may arise which require that you miss a scheduled appointment. Kindly give 24 hours notice so if possible, we can use your reserved time for another child in need of seeing one of our doctors. A missed appointment fee of $60 may be charged to your account if prior notice is not given. All accounts with this charge will need to be paid in full before scheduling future appointments.
We accept most major insurance plans and as a courtesy, we will submit your insurance claim for you. The portion that is not covered by the insurance company is your responsibility and due at the time of service.
It is beneficial for you to know and understand what your insurance benefits are, including deductibles and co-pays. Regrettably, we do not dictate insurance policies and can only work with them.
We accept cash, check, Visa, and Mastercard, Amex, Discover, Apple Pay and Samsung Pay and CareCredit as payment.
When making your first appointment with our office, please have your dental insurance information available.
Dr. Jackson and his team are dedicated to great dental experiences.
We, along with the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, recommend you bring your child in by his or her first birthday.
During your first visit, you will be introduced to our Pediatric Dental Team, given an office tour and discuss your child’s unique smile and ways to keep it beautiful for years to come.
Depending on the age of your child, he or she will either be given a knee-to-knee examination (where your baby’s head will rest on our doctor’s knee while their body is on your lap) or a regular exam in the doctor’s chair.
We request that you complete our First Visit Forms prior to arriving for your appointment. This helps our office keep your and everyone else’ scheduled visit on time.
Your initial exam will last approximately 30 minutes. Oral hygiene instructions will also be given with suggestions to help your child care for their own teeth. In most cases, we will also clean their teeth on this visit, and provide an evaluation that will outline any existing dental problems and proposed treatment.
Please complete our New Patient Forms online before your visit.
Thank you!
Pediatric Dentistry is the dental specialty recognized by the American Dental Association which encompasses comprehensive dental care for all children, from infancy through adolescence.
A pediatric dentist like Dr. Jackson is a practitioner who, after becoming a general dentist (often called a family dentist), has completed at least an additional two years of post-doctoral training in the recognition and treatment of children’s dental services. Specialty education includes child psychology, behavior guidance, preventive techniques, restorative dentistry, and the treatment of children with special needs. Dr. Jackson has gone beyond the requirements of a Pediatric Dental Specialist, becoming certified by the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry.
A thorough exam will be done to evaluate the health of your child’s teeth, gums and mouth. Dr. Jackson will evaluate your child’s growth and development and check to make sure your child’s oral development is on track. Our office will make child-specific recommendations for the need of sealants, fluoride and other services based on your child’s individual needs and habits.
We strive to make each visit fun, educational and memorable for you & your child!

The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry encourages parents and other care providers to help every child establish a dental home by 12 months of age. Establishing a dental home provides some key components to dental care for your child including...
• Comprehensive oral health care including acute care and preventive services.
• Individualized preventive dental health program based upon a caries-risk assessment.
• Anticipatory guidance regarding growth and development.
• Plan for acute dental trauma (emergencies).
• Dietary counseling.
• Referrals to dental specialists when care cannot directly be provided within the dental home.
• Referral at an age determined by patient, parent, and pediatric dentist.
“Dr. Jackson has been seeing my kids ever since he was at Dayton Children’s. When he left there, we followed him and continue to see him. He is extraordinary. My kids absolutely love him and even my adult daughter continues to see him. I always recommend him to everyone that needs a pediatric dentist! “

“I wish I could be more articulate in explaining the greatness, professionalism, caring attitudes, and thoroughness of the staff at Centerville Pediatrics but basically: WE LOVE THEM. My 4 year old has been going since she was 2 and my 1 year old just had her first visit. Despite the usual screams of our youngest, we felt entirely at ease through both appointments. Our hygienist was so so so sweet and nice to the girls, making them laugh and comfortable to the best of her ability. The doctor's are great with the kids and parents, explaining any issues with a warm demeanor and not the coldness I've experienced before. My wife and I could not recommend this office more..“

“I took my twins here for their first ever dentist appointment and I will never go anywhere else! The staff was very friendly and patient with my kids (seeing as to how they were skeptical.. considering it was the first time). The place was super clean and they have cute little “prizes” for kids after they see the dentist. They also have a “no cavity club” that your kid gets to put their name in a jar and participate in the drawing for a chick fil a gift card. It was a great place for kids. I would recommend them to every parent.“

Highly recommend her and will request her for all of our visits for all of my kids. Not only was she patient, but kind and professional. She took her time and explained every step to my daughter.
